The day will begin at 8:30 am with registration and networking, and the presentation will begin at 9:00am

Dave Jensen has been a Staff Attorney with CAMFT since April, 2002. As an attorney with CAMFT, Dave consults with its members regarding their legal and ethical dilemmas and obligations, and he is a regular contributor to The Therapist magazine.

Course Description:  What are the circumstances by which the BBS has the power to revoke or suspend a license or associate registration? In this workshop, Dave Jensen, JD will review the four component parts of making sound, professional judgments. He will also address the areas of law that allow the BBS to revoke or suspend a license or associate registration.

This workshop is designed to help you:

  2. Identify at least ten things that constitute unprofessional conduct under the BBS’s laws and regulations.
  3. Apply the BBS’s rules regarding advertising to your website.

Course meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing education credit for LMFT's , LPCCs, and/or LCSW's as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and counts toward the required Law & Ethics requirement.  CAMFT-CSJV Chapter is approved by CAMFT as a Continuing Education Provider (CEP #62276)
