Welcome and thank you for your interest in joining our local chapter of CAMFT. Belonging to CAMFT-CSJV Chapter not only offers you valuable information but also can be a rewarding experience. Some of the many benefits of becoming a member include:
- Reduced fees for CEU workshops that meet with your mandatory continuing education requirements.

- News containing information about the state of our Chapter, professional articles of interest, various announcements, and pertinent advertisements.

- Ability to participate in our new Searchable Therapy Directories that makes it easier to connect with other professionals and to make referrals at your fingertips.

One of the reasons we exist is to further the vision of the state CAMFT which is to promote and enhance the mental health profession! Our local Chapter’s existence depends on your membership and involvement at the level you are comfortable with. Why not consider joining us today! Please note: CAMFT-CSJV Chapter membership is separate from your state CAMFT membership and membership with the state CAMFT is a prerequisite to joining any local chapter.
Membership in the state California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) organization is a prerequisite for membership in the Central San Joaquin Valley Chapter (CAMFT-CSJV) and your state number is required upon registration.
Membership is open to Licensed MFTs, Registered Interns, Registered Trainees, and professionals in related fields, i.e., Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Psychologists, Psychiatrists, etc.
Clinical Members include clinicians holding a License governed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), such as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and LEP. Yearly dues are $60.
Associate Members include pre-licensed clinicians who are registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), such as AMFT, AMPCC, and ASW, Once licensed and we receive notification of your license number, the Chapter will up manually upgrade your membership to clinical status at no extra charge for the remainder of the calendar year in which you become licensed. Yearly dues are $30.
Student Members are those enrolled in post-secondary or graduate school, or those whoha ve graduated and are awaiting Intern registration with the California BBS. Yearly dues are $20 Once you have registered as an intern and we receive your intern number, the Chapter will manually upgrade your membership to Pre-licensed Intern status at no extra charge for the remainder of the registration year in which you become licensed.
Affiliate Members include members in fields related to mental health who are interested in being professional members of our chapter, such as PsyD, PhD, JD, MD, DO, or other ancillary professionals. Yearly dues are $30.
Retired Members are clinicians who are either previously held a license to practice psychotherapy or currently hold such license but are seeing five or less clients per week. We value your wisdom and would like to offer you a discounted membership for $30 per year.
Pre-Licensed Student members are those whom
Those members who do not pay their renewal fees by the last day of their registration year will be placed on inactive status and will be subject to a $10 reactivation fee upon renewal. Members who remain inactive for more than 1 year will have to rejoin as a new member.
