Please note: CAMFT-CSJV Chapter membership is separate from your state CAMFT membership and membership with the state CAMFT is a prerequisite to joining any local chapter.
Membership in the state California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) organization is a prerequisite for membership in the Central San Joaquin Valley Chapter (CAMFT-CSJV) and your state number is required upon registration.
Membership is open to Licensed MFTs, Registered Interns, Registered Trainees, and professionals in related fields, i.e., Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Psychologists, Psychiatrists, etc.
Membership Levels & Dues:
You are considered a new member if you have never been a member of this local chapter of CAMFT OR you have been on inactive status for one year or more. Fees are stated below and
membership period is 1 year from the date you join this chapter. Reminder renewal notices will be automatically sent by email with a link to renew your membership. You WILL NOT automatically be charged for the new membership period.
Clinical or Associate Member:
Clinical members are those whom are registered as a Licensed MFT (LMFT) with the California BBS. Associate members include other clinical professionals including but not limited to: LCSW, LPPC, PsyD, PhD, JD, MD, DO, or other ancillary professionals.
Yearly dues are $60 for new members.
Pre-licensed Intern members are those whom are registered as a Registered Intern (MFTI) with the California BBS.
Yearly dues are $30 for new members. Once licensed and we receive notification of your license number, the Chapter will up manually upgrade your membership to clinical status at no extra charge for the remainder of the calendar year in which you become licensed.
Pre-Licensed Student members are those whom are enrolled in post-secondary or graduate school, or those whom have graduated and are awaiting Intern registration with the California BBS.
Yearly dues are $20 for new members. Once you have registered as an intern and we receive your intern number, the Chapter will manually upgrade your membership to Pre-licensed Intern status at no extra charge for the remainder of the registration year in which you become licensed.
Active Clinical and Associate Members: Recieve a $5 discount off the regular renewal fee if paid during the month prior to the next registration year. Otherwise, the renewal fee is $60 and is payable by the last day of your registration year.
Prelicensed Members(Interns and Students): Renew at regular dues amount. Not subject to the early renewal discount due to the already discounted membership fee.
Those members who do not pay their renewal fees by the last day of their registration year will be placed on inactive status and will be subject to a $10 reactivation fee upon renewal. Members who remain inactive for more than 1 year will have to rejoin as a new member.
